To stay prepared this summer, we’d recommend scheduling our AC services during winter or spring so you don’t go without reliable air conditioning all season long – having said that, we also offer emergency AC repairs should your AC system suddenly die on you when you need it most.
From complex tasks like replacing electrical components to replacing clogged air filters, we’re able to repair most AC system problems. Having said that, units over 10-15 years old can become more expensive to repair than it is to simply upgrade, so we offer professional AC installation services, too.
More often than not, our team of HVAC professionals will be able to repair your current AC system through regular maintenance and quick replacements rather than forcing you to install a brand new AC system altogether, so contact our team today to ensure you’re prepared for the summer.
Get in touch with our team of plumbing experts today to prevent frozen pipes and any other issues from snowballing into more serious problems.

When temperatures get as cold as 10.4°F during winter in Newport and it snows heavily, your sump pumps can become overwhelmed and you’re at risk of your basement flooding once temperatures start to warm up. This, combined with the risk of burst pipes from the cold weather, is why we provide 24/7 emergency plumbing services.
When you’ve had your current water heater for over 10 years, it’s time to start thinking about a replacement since various faults and leaks are only going to increase in frequency past this point.

Responded to no cooling complaint on aging outdoor condensing unit. Upon arrival, confirmed system was not producing cold air. Performed diagnostic testing and found compressor failing to start despite proper voltage supply. Tested run capacitor and found it within acceptable range, ruling out capacitor failure as root cause. Determined compressor had failed mechanically and was unable to start under load. Due to age of unit and extent of corrosion visible on electrical components and cabinet, recommended full system replacement rather than compressor replacement. Explained to customer that compressor replacement on a system over 10 years old is typically not cost-effective due to reduced efficiency of other aging components and likelihood of additional failures. Customer approved compressor replacement as temporary solution. Removed failed compressor, installed replacement compressor, and reconnected all electrical connections. Evacuated system, pressure tested for leaks, and recharge
Responded to no heat call for 20-year-old boiler system. Upon inspection, detected carbon monoxide leakage (40-45 ppm) at the heat exchanger, indicating unsafe operating conditions. Cleaned flame sensor and temporarily restored ignition, but recommended immediate system shutdown due to compromised heat exchanger integrity and advanced equipment age. Scheduled replacement consultation as repair not advisable given system condition and safety concerns.
Performed diagnostic service on tubular heater in customer's barn that was non-operational. Inspection revealed pressure switch was stuck, preventing proper ignition. System is difficult to access, requiring ladder to reach overhead unit mounted in stable/equine facility. Discussed replacement options for barn heating units with customer. Also noted gas fireplace in house requires service, but was not addressed during this visit.
Conducted a comprehensive plumbing inspection of the property's water supply system and laundry room. Examined the water softener tank, copper and PVC piping configurations, pump assembly, and various connection points for proper function and integrity. Also verified working condition of the laundry appliances including washer, dryer, and utility sink with no issues identified requiring immediate attention.
Performed comprehensive furnace tune-up on 7-year-old unit as part of Family Rewards program. Verified safe combustion, solid electrical connections, and proper function of flame sensor and ignitor. Confirmed clear condensate lines, good amperage readings, and in-range capacitor values. System is operational and prepared for winter heating season.
