Inspected current installations and discussed options, with customer indicating they will compare our quote with other estimates before making a decision.
Inspected property for reported water leaks. Identified water staining on closet ceiling that appears to be related to possible roof leak or attic moisture issue. Noted that staining appeared after roof replacement approximately 2 years ago. Recommended customer contact their roofing contractor to inspect for potential missed roof vent or leak point in recently installed roof.
Responded to no heat call where thermostat was not communicating with furnace. Diagnosed blower motor not spinning freely as primary issue. Responded to emergency call for overflowing toilet in master bathroom causing flooding. Upon inspection, determined toilet was severely clogged. Offered two solutions: immediate installation of available toilet with larger flush valve or temporary unclogging with recommendation for special ordering a toilet with 4-inch flush valve and wider trapway to prevent future occurrences. Customer opted for temporary resolution and will order specialized toilet for future installation.
Replaced customer-supplied 40-gallon electric Rheem Performance water heater due to rust damage on the bottom of the original unit. New installation completed with all necessary plumbing connections and properly positioned on a drain pan in the utility area.
Diagnosed and replaced failed tub spout diverter that was preventing proper shower function. Customer supplied the replacement tub spout which was successfully installed and tested to ensure proper diversion of water flow from tub to shower head.
Successfully replaced damaged fintube section in basement utility room and repaired associated baseboard. System now has proper flow through the blue valve assembly with all PVC connections secure and properly insulated.
Conducted comprehensive plumbing inspection of residential water system. Evaluated Bradford White water heater and Well-X-Trol pressure tank for proper operation. Assessed condition of existing iron filtration system that was previously quoted for replacement.
Responded to a reported shower leak causing water damage to the lower level. Upon inspection and opening the ceiling, determined the issue was not plumbing-related as the entire roof area was wet with no plumbing fixtures present in the vicinity. Advised customer to contact their roofing contractor or a restoration specialist to address the water intrusion from the roof.
Successfully installed a new auto fill valve and backflow preventer on Bosch boiler system. Filled system to manufacturer specifications, conducted operational testing, and confirmed proper functionality of the auto fill mechanism. System is now running correctly with all components operating as designed.
