Responded to no heat call on 21-year-old natural gas furnace unable to maintain temperature above 60 degrees despite thermostat set to 70. Upon inspection, identified multiple critical system failures including failed ignitor, failing flame sensor, control board with visible burn marks around resistors, blower motor leaking oil and not turning, and heat exchanger displaying severe temperature stress points with areas near cracking. Documented equipment condition with photographs showing control board damage and heat exchanger deterioration. Due to the age of the unit and extent of multiple component failures presenting safety concerns, recommended full furnace replacement and scheduled same-day estimate for new system installation.
Responded to callback for Aprilaire humidifier malfunction following recent furnace and air conditioning installation. Humidifier would only operate when thermostat fan was set to "on" or "circulate" mode but failed to function during automatic heating cycles. Diagnosed issue as improper wiring at furnace control board—heating call wire was not connected to W1 terminal. Landed wire on W1 terminal of control board, restoring proper humidifier operation in all modes including automatic heating.
Responded to commercial no-heat call for RTU. Diagnostic testing revealed ignition control board displaying inducer error code despite proper power supply and wiring. Inspection of control board revealed voltage drop to inducer motor, preventing proper startup sequence. During routine furnace maintenance on a 12-year-old unit, discovered significant water damage affecting the heat exchanger, blower motor, and control board. Heat exchanger failure confirmed and system was tagged out for safety. Recommended complete replacement of heat exchanger, blower motor, and control board to restore system functionality.

Completed shower remodel including installation of new shower drain and diverter. Repiped both the drain system and water supply lines using PVC with proper primer at joints and secured new plumbing to wall framing with mounting brackets. No inspection or permits were required for this installation.
Responded to no heat service call on a 2-year-old Goodman system. Upon arrival, observed furnace was cycling off due to pressure switch issues. Diagnosed water in inducer motor, cleared inducer and drain line to restore proper operation. Noted high supply temperature and advised customer to open closed basement vents to improve system efficiency and airflow.
Found unit not producing heat with fan running only. Diagnosed multiple issues including extinguished pilot light, clogged filters, and a failed limit switch. Replaced limit switch and restored proper system operation, ensuring safe heat production.
