Lights Flickering? Trust Our Electrical Services

You also shouldn’t ignore electric panels that buzz loudly or if you experience frequently tripped breakers.

Panel work is an excellent time to add circuits along with lighting, outlets, and more. You can also add ceiling fans for added lighting and increased airflow. The motto in Chaska is “community & relationships,” and we embrace that spirit with our approach to our home services. Our goal is to deliver customers maximum comfort and an exceptional experience. With updated natural gas infrastructure around the city, many area residences may be considering gas furnaces, which is energy-efficient and cost-effective. Still, local heating costs are substantial, and you may want to explore ways to lower them. That includes smart thermostats, hybrid heating, condensing systems, zone control, and solar power.
Water hardness in the city is about five times the national average. You may have hard water whether you live downtown or near the National Wildlife Refuge due to our proximity to the Minnesota River and many nearby lakes. If you’re unsure how hard your water is, we can test it. Our plumbers can then explore whether you need a water softener. If you do, that system can lower water heater costs and protect your pipes, fixtures, and other appliances.
Chaska has a city-owned electric utility known for fast response times. Still, our city is no stranger to extended power outages due to harsh winter weather. That’s why a whole home standby generator is such a good investment, whether living on North Chestnut Street or at the edge of town. The smallest generators provide essential coverage, including lights, heating, and refrigeration. We also offer larger systems that give you managed whole-home coverage.

The most recent job was on March 4, 2026.
Responded to no-heat call for approximately 10-year-old furnace. Diagnosed failed pressure switches as the cause of system failure. Replaced pressure switches, restoring proper operation of the heating system.
Identified audible clicking noise coming from zone dampers on both furnaces. Inspection revealed 14-year-old zone motors repeatedly hitting end switches, causing the constant noise. Verified proper mounting and alignment of all components. Recommended replacement of the affected zone dampers and potentially all zone motors due to their age.
Resolved multi-zone heating issue in aging HVAC system by replacing a third damper to complement previous repairs. System had experienced cascading failures including water damage to motherboard and two faulty dampers, all of which were previously addressed. Final diagnostic testing confirmed all zones are now functioning properly with adequate heat distribution throughout the property.
Performed warranty service on furnace system, replacing damaged collector box and installing missing turbulator in secondary heat exchanger per previous authorization. Secondary heat exchanger issue was recurring based on observed damage. Completed full inspection of Carrier unit to verify proper operation after component replacement.
Performed comprehensive furnace tune-up service as scheduled. Inspected electrical system including breaker panels and connections. Verified proper operation of all components and completed standard maintenance procedures. No issues were identified during service.
Responded to ongoing no heat issue in Lennox furnace. Diagnosed failure caused by missing strip inside secondary heat exchanger tubes, which allowed excessive heat concentration on collector box causing it to melt and crack. Replaced collector box to restore heat, documented issue with photos, and recommended contacting manufacturer regarding the defective secondary heat exchanger to prevent recurrence.
Responded to no heat complaint where home temperature was 58°F despite recent thermostat repairs. Diagnosed multiple zone system failures in 14-year-old Carrier furnace, including failed zone panel, dampers, and motors. Replaced zone panel and installed 2 new zone motors and controls under warranty, restoring proper heating function to all zones before anticipated cold weather.
Diagnosed furnace pressure switch errors causing intermittent heating failure. Found pressure switch operating at critical threshold (1-1.3), close to limit. Corrected venting issues by adding higher vent on condensate trap per manufacturer specifications and installed 90° elbow at exhaust to improve orientation. System operational after service but noted pressure readings remain close to switch limit threshold.
Responded to call regarding 3-year-old furnace not maintaining temperature at night despite running. Diagnostic inspection revealed normal operation with good CO levels and proper ignition sequence. Verified filter was clean. Inspected internal components including wiring connections and visual inspection of heat exchanger. Unit is functioning correctly but may require further monitoring to determine if additional adjustments are needed for overnight temperature maintenance.
Replaced faulty HZ322 TRUEZONE PANEL with new control board per PO #197474-001. Installation completed successfully; however, encountered connectivity issues with third thermostat. Scheduled follow-up with electrician to resolve remaining zone connection problem and verify if thermostat requires updating.
Performed annual maintenance on 1-year-old furnace system. Conducted electrical testing with multimeter to verify proper voltage and connections. Measured gas pressure using dual port manometer, confirming readings within manufacturer specifications (11.7/2.4). All components functioning normally, no issues identified.
Responded to service call for non-functional furnace in a multi-zone Honeywell system. Diagnostic testing revealed system receiving 24V but not initiating heating cycle, likely due to moisture damage. No error codes present on furnace. Examined zone controller (HZ322) and internal wiring connections. Information forwarded to parts specialist for control board replacement estimate.
Diagnosed water leak from humidifier shut off assembly caused by damaged compression fitting, adapter, and a stuck open valve. Cut out damaged section of tubing, installed new adapter and compression fitting to stop the leak. Verified proper furnace operation and confirmed humidifier is now functioning correctly.
