Performed system evaluation and measured refrigerant pressures using digital manifold gauges, obtaining readings of 984 PSIG low side and 1055 PSIG high side with 158°F superheat at outdoor temperature of 72°F. Confirmed cool air delivery from vents and determined refrigerant charge appears appropriate for current ambient conditions of 50°F outdoor temperature. Noted that accurate refrigerant charge verification on high velocity systems requires minimum 70°F outdoor ambient temperature for proper assessment. Documented previous capacitor substitution where 45/5 MFD unit was replaced with 55/5 MFD capacitor due to parts availability. Advised homeowner to operate system during warmer weather conditions and contact for follow-up evaluation if cooling issues persist when outdoor temperatures reach 70°F or above for accurate charge analysis.
