Responded to water leak emergency call for pinhole leak on copper supply line near water meter entry point in basement. Upon arrival, confirmed active leak on vertical copper pipe where main water line enters structure from ground. Leak was located on aged copper piping showing oxidation and patina, positioned adjacent to AO Smith ProLine water heater and water softening system. Performed repair of pinhole leak using appropriate copper pipe repair method. Applied white cloth wrapping at repair joints to secure connection points. Verified water meter shutoff valve was operational with red handle control. Tested repaired section under full water pressure to confirm leak was eliminated and no additional seepage was present at repair site or surrounding connections. Main water supply remained active throughout service as customer had not needed to shut off water to home prior to arrival.
