For plumbing repairs, we have 24/7 Emergency service available for the Eau Claire area.
If you find yourself with a burst pipe or an overflowing toilet, we can be there to help no matter the day or time. We always have technicians on call for both plumbing and HVAC emergencies.
Keep in mind that while our technicians are on call, they still need to get their trucks and tools ready before coming to your home. We will get there as soon as we can but you should still know where the water shutoffs are in your home and how to turn them off if needed.
You have a water “main” that supplies your home with water. There is a shutoff valve here that will shut water off to your entire home.
If you have an overflowing toilet, take a look below the tank and you will see the water line that goes to the toilet. You can shut the water off here by turning the valve closed.
If you have a leaking faucet, you can shut the water off with a valve below the sink (normally located in the bathroom or kitchen cabinet directly below the sink).
If this sounds confusing, ask us to show you these shutoffs next time we are out to your home for preventative maintenance. We’re always happy to help.
Does my plumbing system need regular maintenance?
We recommend having your plumbing inspected every couple of years. We can address any small leaks you might have and clean out your drains. You might be surprised at just how much gunk is down there!
You might not notice how slow your drains are. Similarly, if you have had low water pressure for a while, you might not even realize it until we get it fixed.
How long does a home plumbing system last?
This depends on the materials used for your plumbing. You can expect your plumbing to last anywhere from 20-50 years. If your home is older, it’s a good idea to have a plumbing inspection done to see how things look. From there, we can give you an idea of what state your plumbing is in and estimate how long it could last.
