Performed routine maintenance on 6-year-old Lennox furnace with CO readings verified at safe levels (0002 ppm). Identified and addressed disconnected ductwork by applying tape to prevent air leakage. Inspected electrical connections and breaker panel, confirming proper installation and function. All systems operating normally upon completion of service.
Responded to service call for furnace leaking water and shutting down with red indicator light. Diagnosed failed condensate pump causing water accumulation. Attempted replacement with Little Giant pump, but persistent GFCI tripping indicated electrical outlet failure rather than pump issue. Reinstalled original pump per customer request and scheduled electrician follow-up to address faulty GFCI outlet.
Responded to no heat call for 8-12 year old furnace that was blowing cold air after temperature adjustment. Upon inspection, identified a failed inducer motor and cracked heat exchanger as the root causes. Due to safety concerns and extent of damage, recommended complete furnace replacement as repair was not viable.
Installed Nest power adapter (add a wire kit) on a Lennox furnace system to resolve wiring configuration issues. The 2-hour installation of the wire saver adapter provides proper connectivity for the thermostat without requiring complete rewiring of the system.
Responded to no-heat call for 1-year-old furnace that was attempting to cycle but failing to operate consistently. Diagnostic testing revealed error code EE2 on control board and a failed inducer motor. Replaced inducer motor under existing parts warranty, restoring normal furnace operation and heat to the home.
Responded to warranty service inspection failure. Installed required locking refrigerant caps on an R-454B compatible HVAC unit that showed significant frost/ice buildup around lower components and connections. Documented installation with photos for submission to Ashly.
Diagnosed leak coming from single-stage RO system under kitchen sink. Found water pooling beneath the unit with visible droplets on PVC piping and staining on cabinet wall. Removed the faulty RO system including filter cartridge and disconnected associated supply lines to resolve the immediate leak issue.
Performed furnace tune-up on 8-year-old system and diagnosed issues with Nest thermostat integration. Found malfunctioning relay system installed in place of proper Nest power saver kit causing furnace shutdown. Cleared debris from air intake to address pressure switch error codes. Scheduled return visit to install proper Nest adapter. System inducer functioning normally with no active pressure switch issues at completion.
Responded to no-heat call for a furnace with dropping temperature despite unit running. Diagnostic testing revealed blower motor failure preventing proper air circulation. Replaced complete blower assembly due to unit age and efficiency considerations. System now operating within normal parameters with proper heat distribution.
Conducted inspection of existing 50-gallon standard water heater system and surrounding installation environment to provide estimates for replacement options. Assessed current setup in utility room which included the water heater alongside Carrier furnace and dehumidifier unit. Also evaluated ceiling/wall access points for potential tankless or power vent installation, documenting all findings with detailed photographs.
Responded to no heat call on 22-year-old unit. Upon inspection, determined system required routine maintenance. Changed air filter which restored proper operation. Visual inspection of evaporator coil and insulation showed no additional issues requiring repair.
Responded to no heat call for 9-year-old Lennox furnace with pressure switch lockout (6 flashing lights). Upon arrival, furnace was operational with signs of possible condensate drainage issues. Cleared condensate trap and vacuumed excess water. Suspect prior temporary shutdown due to possible frost buildup on roof exhaust termination that had since melted. Confirmed system was functioning properly and providing heat before departure.
Performed scheduled furnace tune-up with no operational issues identified. Inspected existing ductwork system, including flexible ducts and connections to plenum, confirming proper installation and insulation integrity. All systems functioning within normal parameters.
Responded to emergency water leak at property and completed scheduled 8am water shut off. Identified leak on meter horn and replaced both the meter horn and street side valve. Installation included proper copper pipe connections with brass fittings to restore water service and ensure system integrity.
Responded to service call for leaking reverse osmosis water filtration system under kitchen sink. Diagnosed issue with leaking 3/8" Female x 3/8" Push fittings at faucet connection. Resolved by installing 1/4" tubing with compression nut to faucet and installing 1/4" x 3/8" push fitting to RO system. System tested successfully with no leaks.
Responded to service call for a reported upstairs bathroom leak. Upon inspection, determined the toilet was the likely source of leakage. Removed toilet, replaced worn wax ring, and identified possible need for flange replacement. Documented additional plumbing issues with bathtub and sink areas showing signs of water damage and deterioration; left estimates for recommended repairs.
Replaced defective gate valve for front hose bibb and installed new ball valve, as the original was not closing properly. Also installed new ball valve for back hose bibb which previously had no shut-off valve. All installations were tested and verified to be functioning correctly.
Responded to a no-heat call for an 11-year-old Lennox furnace that was disconnected from the smart hub. Diagnostic testing revealed a failed smart hub and water leakage from the inducer motor, with evidence of significant wood deterioration and metal corrosion around the mounting surface. Replaced the smart hub, inducer motor, and collector box to restore proper heating function.
Performed furnace safety inspection on 16-year-old Bryant system. Conducted comprehensive flue gas analysis with readings of 95.4% efficiency, 4ppm CO, and appropriate stack temperatures. Inspection revealed compromised secondary heat exchanger, which is a known issue with this model. Documented condition with photos and informed customer of findings, but customer declined replacement options.
Responded to warranty service call for a leak that developed under the pressure regulator valve after previous water softener installation. Customer declined repair option to replace washers and re-tighten connections, instead requesting full replacement of the meter horn which was leaking at connection to water meter. Replaced meter horn with new copper meter setter to resolve the issue.
