Performed comprehensive AC maintenance on single condenser unit with R-410A refrigerant in 71-degree ambient conditions. Conducted full system inspection including filter, thermostat, temperature split, condenser, coils, motors, capacitors, compressor, refrigerant level, and condensate drain. Identified and resolved low battery condition on Honeywell Home digital thermostat by replacing batteries. Corrected blower speed setting from low to high per factory specifications. All system components tested and verified operating within normal parameters upon completion.
Responded to water leak originating from bathroom sink faucet with leaking spout causing water to run down and accumulate under the sink. Upon diagnosis, determined the existing faucet spout was leaking from underneath and required replacement. Removed the defective faucet assembly and installed a new bathroom faucet with chrome finish and dual-handle configuration. Verified all supply line connections, tested for proper water flow and drainage through the P-trap assembly, and confirmed complete elimination of leak. System restored to full operational status with no further water intrusion detected.
Completed annual AC tuneup and maintenance inspection on residential cooling system. Upon arrival, found outdoor condenser coil heavily soiled with dirt, dust, and debris accumulation affecting airflow and system efficiency. Cleaned condenser coil, inspected fan operation, and verified thermostat functionality showing proper temperature control at 69 degrees. All system components operating within normal parameters following maintenance service.
Responded to emergency no-cool call on newly installed Lennox EL18KCV-036 air conditioning system experiencing low pressure lockout fault. Upon arrival, performed system diagnostics and confirmed refrigerant charge levels were within acceptable range. Testing revealed evaporator coil was operating excessively cold due to insufficient indoor airflow across the coil. Adjusted indoor blower motor speed settings to increase CFM delivery. Verified correction by measuring supply and return air temperature differential, which returned to proper operating range. System resumed normal cooling operation without lockout condition after airflow adjustment was completed.
Completed annual air conditioning tune-up and inspection on 3-year-old Carrier Infinity system per maintenance agreement. Performed comprehensive operational testing of all components including electrical connections, controls, and refrigerant circuit. Unit found to be functioning properly with no deficiencies noted at time of service.
Responded to service call for 18-year-old Carrier AC unit that wouldn't shut off via thermostat. Diagnosed shorted crankcase heater affecting compressor operation, which was verified by removing heater from circuit. Also inspected secondary heat exchanger and noted early signs of moisture intrusion behind the component. Scheduled follow-up with service advisor to address repairs.
Completed installation of shower valve and faucet as scheduled return visit. Installed single handle Moen Chateau lavatory faucet with chrome finish, featuring eco-friendly water conservation design. Work involved connecting to existing copper pipe assembly with four-way junction fitting, integrating with the home's water distribution system.
Responded to no-heat call where furnace would not start. Diagnosed issue as clogged pressure switch ports. Performed cleaning of pressure switch ports to restore proper operation of the heating system.
Performed diagnostic assessment of shower valve system with broken handle. Discussed repair vs. replacement options with customer, who ultimately decided to proceed with complete shower valve replacement. Additionally, customer opted to replace lab faucet. Previous quote from another company was noted, but our comprehensive solution was recommended based on accessibility behind shower wall.
Performed scheduled furnace tune-up on recently installed unit. System inspected and confirmed to be operating within normal parameters. Identified and repaired minor leak in PVC exhaust piping to restore proper venting integrity.
Inspected customer's 25-year-old furnace due to concerns about heat exchanger condition. Confirmed previous technician's findings of excessive rust, temperature stress, and wear where pipes connect to the manifold. Observed heat exchanger showing significant stress that presents a potential safety risk but does not yet warrant immediate condemnation. Tested and cleaned flame sensor which showed weak performance (1-1.7 µA). Scheduled service advisor for new furnace estimate and will provide separate estimate for heat exchanger and flame sensor replacement.
Performed comprehensive furnace tune-up service addressing several maintenance issues. Cleaned dirty flame sensor, cleared beehive buildup from fresh air intake/exhaust, replaced dirty filter, and addressed condensation leak at bottom right of furnace. Additionally, adjusted gas pressure on low/high settings, cleared condensation drain line, and verified normal carbon monoxide levels using diagnostic equipment.
