Responded to water leak service call where leak source had been previously identified by restoration company. Accessed damaged ceiling area exposing building infrastructure and repaired compromised section of 1/2" PEX supply line servicing toilet.
Inspected kitchen ceiling showing active water damage with visible staining and bubbling. Determined source was upstairs bathroom toilet with severely corroded flange and failing wax ring causing phantom leak. No active plumbing line breach found. Referred customer to water damage restoration company for ceiling repair.
Performed fall furnace check on 2-year-old Lennox system. During gas pressure adjustment, flame extinguished momentarily with CO levels spiking to 3000 ppm. Immediately shut down system, thoroughly inspected burners and gas pressure components finding no visible issues. Upon restart, system operated normally with all components functioning properly. Blower wheel and control board verified operational. Advised homeowner of incident and recommended vigilance for any recurring symptoms.
Capped off 1” Copper irrigation supply, 1” copper solder joint leaking just below valve. (Irrigation piping not being used, due to a complete association system).
Customer wanted estimate for complete drain tile and sump system, which is not a service we provide.
I went out to assist a customer whose home had several outlets in the living room that had stopped working. After investigating, I found a loose wire in the circuit breaker panel that had interrupted the power flow to the outlets. By tightening the connection and securing the wiring, I restored full functionality to the outlets, ensuring safe power distribution throughout the room.
