Responded to no-cooling complaint following Diego's initial diagnosis. Found unit would operate when manually jumped but not via thermostat. Determined Honeywell thermostat was faulty (missing delay function). Replaced and rewired thermostat, which resolved the issue, restoring proper system operation.
Diagnosed multiple flushing and filling issues across three toilets in customer's residence. Identified debris impeding flapper function and causing tank leakage in American Standard 4215A model. Performed cleaning service to remove accumulated debris and improve immediate function, while providing estimate for complete rebuild of affected units to resolve persistent problems.
Responded to water leak service call where leak source had been previously identified by restoration company. Accessed damaged ceiling area exposing building infrastructure and repaired compromised section of 1/2" PEX supply line servicing toilet.
Inspected kitchen ceiling showing active water damage with visible staining and bubbling. Determined source was upstairs bathroom toilet with severely corroded flange and failing wax ring causing phantom leak. No active plumbing line breach found. Referred customer to water damage restoration company for ceiling repair.
Performed fall furnace check on 2-year-old Lennox system. During gas pressure adjustment, flame extinguished momentarily with CO levels spiking to 3000 ppm. Immediately shut down system, thoroughly inspected burners and gas pressure components finding no visible issues. Upon restart, system operated normally with all components functioning properly. Blower wheel and control board verified operational. Advised homeowner of incident and recommended vigilance for any recurring symptoms.
Capped off 1” Copper irrigation supply, 1” copper solder joint leaking just below valve. (Irrigation piping not being used, due to a complete association system).
Customer wanted estimate for complete drain tile and sump system, which is not a service we provide.
I went out to assist a customer whose home had several outlets in the living room that had stopped working. After investigating, I found a loose wire in the circuit breaker panel that had interrupted the power flow to the outlets. By tightening the connection and securing the wiring, I restored full functionality to the outlets, ensuring safe power distribution throughout the room.
Completed a plumbing repair at a residential home. The client had a problem with a leaky faucet and requested a solution. I diagnosed the issue as a worn down o ring and replaced the faulty part, ensuring a reliable and efficient plumbing system. The client was pleased with the repair.
Customer reported that their furnace was running but not heating the home effectively. The technician performed a thorough inspection, checking the thermostat settings and testing each furnace component, identifying a malfunctioning flame sensor that was disrupting the heating cycle. After carefully cleaning and realigning the sensor, the technician restarted the furnace and verified it was now heating correctly, providing consistent warmth and resolving the customer’s issue.
The customer called me out for a heating repair job because their furnace wasn’t blowing warm air. After checking the system and testing the electrical connections, I found a faulty igniter causing the issue. I replaced the igniter, ran the system through a full cycle to confirm it was working, and the heating was back on, keeping the customer warm and happy.
