The customer called me because their furnace was making a loud rattling noise and wasn’t heating effectively. I arrived and used a screwdriver to remove the access panel, allowing me to inspect the blower assembly. I found that debris had accumulated around the blower motor, causing the noise and restricting airflow. After cleaning out the debris and lubricating the motor, I reassembled the unit and tested the system to ensure it was running quietly and efficiently. The furnace was back to normal operation, and the customer was pleased with the prompt resolution.
