Job Locations and Reviews
Responded to no heat service call for a residence with dual heating system (geothermal and propane furnace). Upon arrival, found furnace operating but struggling to maintain temperature in poorly insulated home. Diagnosed system was functioning correctly but efficiency was compromised by severely clogged air filter. Replaced air filter and verified normal operation of both heating systems. Determined geothermal unit was running properly but unable to keep up with heating demand in cold conditions, causing automatic switchover to propane furnace as designed.
Responded to service call for clogged toilet. Upon inspection, found extensive calcification inside toilet bowl preventing effective augering. Completed rebuild of toilet flange and installed new white porcelain toilet with standard tank. Verified proper installation and functionality before completion.
Performed maintenance inspection on customer's wood-burning furnace/combo water heater system. Diagnosed heat exchanger between boiler and water heater as plugged, causing insufficient hot water supply. Noted non-functioning water softener that should be addressed prior to additional repairs. Completed inspection of A.O. Smith water heater and associated plumbing components. Submitted estimate form for necessary repairs to heat exchanger and water treatment system.
Performed annual maintenance on 8-year-old furnace and 14-year-old boiler under Family Rewards agreement. For furnace: cleaned flame sensor, verified proper condensate drainage, inspected heat exchanger and burners, checked filter and blower wheel. For boiler: cleaned igniter and flame sensor, confirmed proper system pressure and temperature settings. Both units tested operational with 50° temporize on furnace.
Performed annual furnace tune-up on Lennox unit. Found and cleared clogged elbow fitting in AC drain pan, resolving reported water leakage issue. Replaced UV bulb and filter (customer-provided), verified electrical components within specification, cleaned flame sensor, and cleared all drain hoses. Unit operating properly after service.
Diagnosed and replaced a faulty gas valve and installed a new 1/2-3/4 inch AGA ball valve shutoff on York furnace that was not producing heat. After completion of the 2-hour repair, tested system operation and confirmed the furnace is now functioning properly with normal heating capacity restored.
